This fun sunflower quilt block is a take on a Dresden fan pattern, without having to make a single Dresden! This block is pieced together, not appliqued on like a traditional Dresden. And, the block pattern is completely free!
The theme for this month’s Quilt Block Mania is “harvest.” While it is still in the triple-digit temperatures here, fall is coming our way… with cooler temperatures and warmer colors. While I love an iced beverage, I’m looking forward to apple cider weather! I think that sunflowers do a great job of signaling the end of summer…
