This month’s theme is “Night Sky.” Perhaps you’ve found some time this summer to head outdoors and enjoy the night sky. It certainly helps if you’re able to get away from city lights so you can really enjoy the stars. Even if you can’t make it out to a dark sky community, you can enjoy these quilted stars! These twin stars are perfect for making a single pillow, or an entire quilt of stars! Add asymmetrical sashing and rotate the blocks randomly for a really fun star-studded quilt!
You can also be more intentional with the placement of your stars, and make a specific constellation. Grab your graph paper and map it out – these stars finish at 4″ and 8″, and you can make as many as you like!
