The Carolina Moore Glow Ruler is an acrylic ruler with embedded LED lights. When the button on the base is pinched between the thumb and index finger, the LED lights come on. These light up the etched lines on the ruler, creating a “glow” effect.
Glow Ruler Launch
First launched in October of 2023, the Carolina Moore Glow Ruler has been welcomed by quilters as it makes the ruler lines easier to see, especially for quilters with certain vision challenges. The Glow Ruler also makes cutting fabric in low-light easier.

Large Glow Rulers
After the very successful launch of the 6″ Carolina Moore Glow Ruler, quilters were asking for Glow Rulers in different sizes. As a veteran quilter of over 30 years, Carolina Moore designed the two most useful sizes for quilters. The 12.5″ square for squaring up quilt blocks, and the 6.5″ x 24″ for cutting yardage. These two were first launched for pre-order, with a summer 2024 delivery date of the first production quantities.

Adding Grip to Glow Rulers
The Carolina Moore Glow Rulers do not come with any kind of grip-assistance already added to the rulers.
