I’ve been in somewhat of a crafting slump lately. Partly because I have far too many things to get done, and not enough time to do it all (the age-old problem for all of us, I think), and partly because I’ve been too tired to find some time for me.
I decided I needed to get some inspiration. So Little Moore and I headed down to the Harvest Festival. I love going to craft shows! It is so fun to see all the handmade goods. Although I’m kind-of an “all-over-the-map” crafter, and have tried a lot of things, there are quite a few that I haven’t tried my hand at yet. Like jams and jellies. And soap making. And I only have a few bags under my belt – so far.
It is lots of fun to taste the tasteable wares (and I made sure to bring some home – in the form of fudge for the hubby), and get my fill of eye-candy as well. Of course, there were some other things that made it home with me… like the cutest pair of pumpkin pie earrings, and a vintage post office box key that will be finding itself in a future project.
It was a great way to spend a couple hours – supporting some crafters, getting inspired, and being entertained by a banjo and a woman with a washboard stomach.
Now I’m back at the crafting table with lots of fun stuff to work on, plenty of inspiration, and of course the fudge to keep my energy up!

Looks like amazing fun! Curious- were you the only one taking photos? I was snapping away at an antuique mall a few weeks ago and got the strangest looks!
