This snake quilt block for our desert themed quilt block mania can also be a snake emoji quilt block, or can work great as a Slytherin snake for a Harry Potter quilt.
The head for this snake quilt block does require some advanced piecing, so this is a quilt for a confident beginner or better. However it is a very fun block and doesn’t require any special piecing techniques. I always recommend pre-starching fabrics, especially when doing the tiny piecing required in this quilt block.

Tried to print out the snake quilt pattern and all I got was 1/8 of the original size. Can’t read it!

Hi! This sounds like an issue with the printer settings… make sure you have selected the correct paper size and that it is scaled to 100%.
