When I was thinking of what kind of quilt block would be a fun for a beach theme, I thought of Sun Block! I have grown up in California, and have spent nearly a decade living in San Diego. We love the beach… but don’t love a sun burn. Sun Block is essential, especially after being diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma 3 years ago. I was quickly treated and thankfully we’ve found no reoccurrences. But I’m more vigilant about using Sun Block now!
I love how this bottle has a vintage-looking label. Despite the extra piecing for the label, this sunblock bottle quilt block comes together very quickly! There is no fancy piecing, and it doesn’t even have very many pieces! You’ll be shocked at how simple it is to put together, and still makes a big visual impact!

Hi Caroline,
Thank you for all your work on Quilt Mania. I really appreciate it. I am having a problem wit trying to get to the Surf Shop business. The link sends me to Shopify site that tells me I don’t have “permission” to be there. I’ve tried to change accounts as it suggests, but that doesn’t work either. There is no name of the store. How do I get to the store to get my pattern and see what they have? Thanks for your help.
Jane

PLEASE HELP!!! I have been trying to get Surf Shop FPP for more than a week. It goes to shopify and I tried to register but it keeps saying I am not registered to go to this site. How do I get this pattern I love FPP patterns.

For that pattern, you’d want to reach out to that maker. However, I think someone let her know there was a problem with the link, and she updated it.
