I love online patterns. For lots of reasons. Firstly, because there are so many awesome ones to choose from. And because usually you can see lots of different ways people have made the pattern or styled it.
Oh, and because some patterns are available as instant downloads, even in the middle of the night. So I could get a wild hair to make something at 11:00 at night, find a pattern, pay for it, download it, and put the whole thing together before Little Moore wakes up at 3am. Sweet!
Plus, once you’ve downloaded it once, you can print it several times, as you need to make adjustments. So, no tracing tissue paper patterns!
There are a ton of places online you can find patterns, and I’ll share a couple of my favorites with you.
Made by Rae is one of the first I found. I love both her Itty Bitty Baby Dress and her Big Butt Baby Pants. Both of which I’ve made. I’m looking forward to trying more of her patterns.
Moda Bake Shop is an awesome quilting resource. All the patterns are made with pre-cut fabrics, and sometimes include some yardage. One warning here – you might get what you pay for. The patterns are all free, and some have better levels of instruction than others. But I’ve enjoyed the patterns I’ve tried here, and had limited issues.
The most recent online pattern I’ve worked with is the 241 Tote from Noodlehead. I just love this bag and can’t wait to finish up my “have to” projects so that I can finish the last little seam on this “want to” project! And then I’ll share pictures. : )

I just love internet and all things you can download for free. I totally take advantage of printing kids activity pages, stencils and craft patterns.
