For the upcoming Engagement Party the family is throwing for A, I asked my niece R’s parents if it was okay if I made her outfit. And not because I don’t think they’re perfectly capable of picking out their own daughter’s clothing… but because I wanted to make “Matchy-Matchy” outfits for Little Moore and his cousin R.
Little Moore’s shorts are going to become part of Pocket Week, so you’ll get to see those later. However, baby R’s dress is all done (and I couldn’t resist sharing), so here it is:
I used Made By Rae’s Itty Bitty Baby Dress Pattern again. Partly, because it turned out so cute the last time I made it… and partly because I already had the pattern, and knew what I was doing, so it was much faster than starting from the beginning with a new pattern.
The fabric is an inexpensive print I picked up at Wally World. It had the different prints already on it, so I just cut the pieces from different parts of the fabric to make it look like I used several different fabrics.
I can’t wait to see Baby R and Little Moore in their matching outfits!
Expect Moore… soon!
