I love Valentine’s Day! Even if you don’t have a sweetheart to share it with, it is a day filled with yummy candy, pretty decorations, and beautiful smelling flowers. What’s not to love about that?
If you do have someone special to share the day with, it is a day where we go out of our way to let that person know that they are special. Which is pretty awesome.
When I saw this box of “table scatter” in the Dollar section at Target, I just knew I needed to make something out of the cute little Xs and Os. All I needed was some battery-operated tea lights, and some hot glue to get a little romantic ambiance going! They are quick and easy to put together, depending on how tall you’d like to make yours.
After finishing up these tea lights, I came up with another fun project that uses Xs and Os… but you’ll have to come back next week to see that one!

This is such a cute project and there are not nearly enough decorations out there for Valentine’s Day, so it’s great that you made your own. Honestly, if I saw a box of “table scatter” I would be wondering what I was possibly supposed to use it for. I never would have thought of this.

I *really* like this craft!!!!!! I think I am going to undertake it (which is saying a lot for me, because typically the only crafts I do are during Christmas time….)
