I finally updated my tutorials tab with my recent tutorials. As I was going through the archives, I saw my clothespin reindeer post, and had a crazy idea – clothespin bunnies!
I spent the evening painting, and hot-gluing, and photographing… and came up with another super-simple one-photo tutorial for you guys! The bunny is a tiny bit more work than the reindeer… but I think they turned out super cute!
I played around making several different variations. I found some colored googly-eyes, which I think is perfect for these little Easter crafts. I made them with both big and small clothespins, and they worked equally well both ways.
Supplies needed: clothespins
white and pink paint
paintbrushes
googly eyes
pink felt (for nose)
sheet of white craft foam
black pen (for teeth)
puff (for tail)
glue (I used hot glue)
You can try out different combinations of eyes, teeth… tilt your bunny’s head and you get…
Oh, and if your bunny won’t stand, add a line of hot glue to the bottom of each foot, and press onto a non-stick surface (like a hard plastic lid). Let cool, peel off (being careful not to leave the glue behind). Repeat if needed.
Have a wonderful bunny-chasing, egg-finding day!
Always,
C.Moore

I remember the clothespin reindeer. This is a cute idea for the bunnies. I really like it and am going to try and do these. I found your blog on MBC and I’m a new follower of yours. Can’t wait to see more of your ideas.
