This fun 12″ finished quilt block stitches up a simple tractor! Part of the “Farm” series for this month’s Quilt block mania, this big green tractor quilt block is a great addition to any farm themed quilt. Hi Carolina. I always wondered what batting you used in your quilt tops? I’m making your BOM and wanted to quilt each block in a row to have less bulk under my sewing machine before joining each row together.
I am loving using your lighted ruler making the blocks. Really helps in seeing where to cut. Thank you so much for all that you’ve done for quilting industry. Looking forward to next set of trading cards next month.

I buy 100% cotton batting on a roll. What you’re describing is quilt-as-you-go, which is a different technique. It could work with this pattern, but you’ll want to research the technique so that you can adjust accordingly.
