Mother’s Dream. Week 9, Block 9:

This week, the step-by-step instructions for the Mother’s Dream block shows you slightly different construction than the video below. This week you’ll need the Mother’s Dream Cut File for Cricut Design Space.

Cricut Maker Quilt Sashing. Week 10:

You won’t need a cut file to add on the sashing this week. The sashings were cut in Intro: Week 1. You can watch the video below, or follow the step by step instructions for adding sashing to the quilt top.

Borders. Week 11:

Just like last week with the sashing, you won’t need a cut file to add on the borders this week. The sashings and borders were both cut in Intro: Week 1. You can watch the video below, or follow the step by step instructions for adding the borders to the quilt top – which mean that the quilt top is complete!

Quilting. Week 12:

In week 12 we get to quilt our quilt! This week I’ve made two different videos to show you two different techniques. In each video I show you a different basting technique. I also share with you details in the Cricut Maker Block of the Week – Week 12 post.

In this first video, I show you how to baste using pins, and quilt using a walking foot. This is the easiest for beginners.

In this second video I show you how to baste using basting spray, and quilt by free-motion quilting. This gives you a lot more freedom to be creative.

Binding. Week 13:

If you want to learn even more about binding, there is a great Binding series on Craftsy. You can check it out here.

Here are links to supplies mentioned in the video:
Cricut Maker Machine
Bundled Fabric
Fabric mat
Cricut Water-soluble Fabric pen

And, because this series was so popular, and I got so many requests, I made a Cricut Maker Block of the Week THE SEQUEL! Nine more quilt blocks that you can make with your Cricut Maker:
